we were happy to host Daniel Orrentia from colombia

With a highly developed sensitivity towards acting and art, my practice pushes the boundaries between improvisation and physical theatre, bringing elements of clowning, mine and painting as tools for expression and story telling. My practice is complemented with more than ten years experience with physical theatre and improvisation, studying under renowned professionals such as Keith Johnstone and Avner Eisenberg.

As a performer, I have experience working in over 20 cities and in some of the most important festivals in America and Europe, including The Würzburg Impro festival and Improganza festival in Edmonton – Canada.

I founded and currently run a company called PICNIC, specialised in creating devised work collaborating with different artists who bring inspiration from distinct areas. I design workshops with the objective of finding new ways to inquire into the creative process.
